Our choir provides an opportunity for those who love singing to come together and enjoy performing different works within the community. We also aim to advance and develop public education and appreciation of the art and science of music and to make choral music more accessible to the public. To help us achieve these aims it is extremely important for us to:-
- Give performance opportunities to musicians who are learning their craft
- Serve our local community by hosting singing events
As a charity we are faced with the challenge of ever-increasing running costs. Rehearsal and concert venue hire charges, music rental and fees for musicians and soloists draw heavily on our available finances.
You can help us by sponsoring a concert, soloist or instrumentalist. Typically fees for musicians and soloists range between £150 and £250.
Sponsorship can be a great opportunity to show your support for the local arts scene and to entertain clients, family or friends. It can also be a memorable way of celebrating a birthday or anniversary or perhaps a poignant gesture of remembrance.
